ANALISIS PENCEGAHAN PENCURIAN DATA MELALUI APLIKASI WHATSAPP MENGGUNAKAN METODE KRIPTOGRAFI

Abstract

The development of technology and information that is very fast and completely digital makes digital data more and more widely used. The technology that is currently widely used by people in communicating and exchanging information via Android is WhatsApp. The technology used has both positive and negative impacts. One of the negative impacts of technology is the theft of personal data. The purpose of this research is to prevent data leakage or data theft from irresponsible parties through the WhatsApp application. The research method used is analysis, and the technique used in data collection is literature study. The results of this study are with the endto-end encryption feature on the WhatsApp application that uses the cryptographic method. End-to-end encryption on the WhatsApp application maintains the confidentiality of user data and prevents data leakage or data theft by irresponsible third parties,
