STRATEGI PERANCANGAN SISTEM AMAVIS DAN SPAMASSASSIN PADA SPAM MAIL

Abstract

Mail server is one of the most used server function in this business. Indeed, the e-mail function itself can reduce correspondence costs, be more efficient than manual communication, and can include additional useful attachments and additional documents related to the e-mail content. One of the inconveniences is spam e-mail, so to overcome this problem using the spam filter method, the aim is that spam in the form of e-mail will be detected by the amavis and spamassassin mail servers before being received by the e-mail account owner. This research uses the PPDIOO development method (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize) with several software as calculation tools that aim to provide alternative stages of installation, monitoring, and development. The results will provide concrete steps in the installation stages to the mail server system development stage, besides that applying the PPDIOO method will provide parameters in developing the mail server system. With this method, it can help to see which mail server comparisons can reduce or eliminate incoming spam.
